This website is dedicated to explaining to people what is really going on in regard to economics and finance.
It does not use Keynesian economics, rather it uses Austrian economics as its basis, which is why my model works. It explains everything that is going on these days in regard to the economy and the financial situation.
It does so in non-technical terms, but uses the Kondratieff wave and Elliott waves (both of which are simple in concept) to tie things together.
Both the Kondratieff wave and Elliott waves are explained, to the extent necessary, on this website, and any somewhat “technical” terms used are defined here, as well.
The Humphrey-Hawkins law is also taken into account - a law which I call a law against recessions for convenience because of when it was passed, but which is a law requiring full employment at low inflation.
The point is to show how what is going on now fits into the big picture – and to give people a heads-up about what to expect in the future.
The purpose is to give people a sense of understanding of what is going on so they don’t feel so lost and uneasy and so they can get a handle on what they need to do to deal with the situation and to prepare for the future in a meaningful way, to the extent that they can, i.e., to the extent that they are in a position to do so.
If you want to get some idea of the various elements of my model without taking on the entire model at once (the entire text at the My model link), the other texts linked to that provide overview or detail are typically a fair amount shorter, sometimes much shorter, than the text actually describing my model, so if you want to get an overall idea of various elements of my model or various details that are associated with my model or are part of my model, feel free to read those first.
(Note: Most of the text about the model itself was written in early February 2007 after having been in my head for several years. I put this website up in early 2010 and have continued to add to it since.)
